His father George was a butcher and he was too because, when he was buried, he was described as a butcher of King Street [no age given]. The burial was on 14 Jul 1813 at St Margaret's.

Eleanor INKSON
noteIt is uncertain what happened to Eleanor. It is more than likely that she was the Eleanor, 'daughter of William Inkson', who was buried buried at All Saints, Kings Lynn on 29 Jan 1781 Eleanor. However, an Eleanor Inkson, spinster, married Joseph Bell, bachelor, - both of this parish - on 29 Feb 1804 at St Nicholas' and another Eleanor Inkson, spinster, married John Hodgkinson, bachelor, - both of this parish - on 04 Dec 1814 at St Nicholas', Kings Lynn, Norfolk. The first marriage was witnessed by George and Susan Inkson and one of the witnesses of the second was a George !nkson. One of the two was presumably William's sister Eleanor [b. ABT 1763] but who was the other? We are not aware of another Eleanor at this stage.

noteWe know Mary's date of birth because it is on her baptism certificate.
The working assumption at this stage is that this is the Mary that married James Armes on 8 Nov 1805 in St Nicholas'. One of the witnesses was a William Inkson, presumably her father.

Henry INKSON
noteWe don't know Henry's date of birth : he was baptised in St Nicolas' [on 27 November 1800] rather than St Margaret's and it was not the habit to record DoB at the chapel.
The big question is whether this is the Henry who became a book binder in Kings Lynn. That Henry married in 1837 and only died in 1899 when this Henry would have been 99 years old.
